Our brothers Roshan Anthonypillai, OFM Cap., and Reynaldo FrÃas-Santana, OFM Cap. (above) were ordained as priest-friars in Pittsburgh, PA, by Bishop David Zubik who shepherds the diocese there. of Pittsburgh, PA. The celebration took place on Saturday, December 9. Both men will be headed to our Custodies in their first assignments as priests: Fr. Reynaldo will minister in Utuado, PR, to assist our brothers in one of the areas most damaged by the recent hurricane, and Fr. Roshan will be serving with the friars in Papua New Guinea.
Before the Ordination, the friars sign documents attesting to the desire
to be ordained priests in the Catholic community.
The singing took place in the chapel of our motherhouse,
St. Augustine Friary, with our Provincial Minister Tom Betz, OFM Cap.

and Reynaldo celebrates with friends and confreres.
Fr. Reynaldo presided at his first Mass
with St. Francis Parish in Harrisburg, PA
where he served as a deacon.
Fr. Roshan celebrated at the home of the Passionist Nuns in Carrick (Pittsburgh), PA.
