MISSION SCHEDULE TEMPLATE
(Adjustments can be made at the discretion of the pastor.)
SATURDAY
Optional Saturday morning Mass before the Mission:
Open to all Catholic women 18 and over whether or not they are married or have children.
Presentation and Q & A: Regarding the Confraternity of Christian Mothers
\NOTE: If you are inviting the women to bring children, it would be good to provide child care so that the moms can be free to participate fully; there could be a social time afterwards, perhaps with food.
If it seems better to have the gathering for the women of the parish to hear about the Confraternity of Christian Mothers on Monday or Tuesday, I am happy to schedule that at the discretion of the pastor.
SUNDAY
Confessions begin while rosary is prayed by the parish; relics of St. Padre Pio and Blessed Solanus Casey will be available for veneration. Perhaps the confessions could begin at 6:00 pm? Adjustment can be made by the pastor.
1st Mission Conference: 6:30 pm
The Greatest Threat to Holiness Today
Confessions are available after the conference.
Relics of St. Padre Pio and Blessed Solanus Casey would be available for veneration.
MONDAY
Confessions begin at 6:00 pm while the rosary is prayed by the parish. Confessions are available, and the relics of St. Padre Pio and Blessed Solanus Casey would be available for veneration.
2nd Mission Conference: 6:30 pm
Pray, Hope and Don’t Worry: How to raise faithful Catholics
and encourage the return of those who have left their Catholic faith
Confessions are available and relics of St. Padre Pio and Blessed Solanus Casey would be available for veneration.
TUESDAY
Confessions begin at 6:00 pm while the rosary is prayed by the parish. Confessions are available, and the relics of St. Padre Pio and Blessed Solanus Casey would be available for veneration.
Mass: 6:30 pm
The mission’s conclusion with Apostolic Blessing
No Confessions follow the Mass, but the relics of St. Padre Pio and Blessed Solanus Casey would once again be available for veneration.
Final Mission conference: 7:00 pm
The Solution
This is a video presentation in the parish hall followed by a Q&A with Fr. Joseph.
The evening concludes with a reception and refreshments.

OTHER OPTIONS
Format of Conferences
At the discretion of the pastor, the Mission conferences may be given during Exposition and Incensation of the Blessed Sacrament and conclude with Benediction – this would be for Sunday and Monday only, since the Mass is celebrated on the final evening to close the Mission.
Recording & Video
You have permission to record or livestream the Mission talks for those unable to attend.
Optional Mass on Saturday morning
It is possible to have families at the optional Mass on Saturday morning. After the Mass, the fathers and children could go to the parish hall for the Social (during the time of the presentation and Q & A with the women)
Relics
The relics should be placed on a table or stand which is accessible to the faithful. They should be placed, with cleaning cloths, on a corporal near the front of the sanctuary.
(If there is to be exposition of the Blessed Sacrament the relics
should be removed while the Blessed Sacrament is exposed.)

PARISH MISSION
Fr. Joseph will preach at all the weekend Masses and serve as the celebrant for one or more of the Sunday Masses at the discretion of the pastor. Adjustment can be made if there is a Sunday evening Mass. Please contact Fr. Joseph if you prefer to have the Mission conferences scheduled for Monday through Wednesday.
The parish mission themes are intended primarily for the spiritual formation of teens through adults, it is preferable if child care can be provided in a separate venue during the evening conferences for minors under high-school age.
The regular schedule of parish activities, meeting, groups etc.. should be suspended during the days of the mission and all should be invited to attend the evening conferences. The presence and participation of the pastor (and associates, if they exist) is expected for the events and sacramental assistance of the faithful during the parish mission.
Fr. Joseph will make himself available for vocation talks to youth or young adult groups as well as the school or religious education program if they are being conducted during the days of the mission. He is also available during the daytime hours for the Sacrament of Confession and spiritual direction. He is also available to visit the sick and shut-ins during the days of the mission.
A freewill offering envelope is placed in all of the pews for the Sunday Masses and throughout the Mission. There are other Mission materials inside the donation envelope, including a promotional flier for the Archconfraternity of Christian Mothers.
Fr. Joseph's ministry supports the education of our students in formation and our elderly friars. The envelope indicates that the faithful should make out any checks to the parish, and the pastor would make out a single check to my Capuchin Province that would be mailed after the Mission which would include the total of the freewill offering, the reimbursement for travel and any sacramental stipends.
Please make one check payable to: PROVINCE OF ST. AUGUSTINE.
Please mail checks to:
