Three novices from our Vice Province of St. Michael in Papua New Guinea professed first vows in the Philippines during the weekend of May 15, 2015.
Brothers Clement Tarmat, OFM Cap., Joseph Umba, OFM Cap., and Christopher Skoeiwere, OFM Cap., were among the nine young men from three countries who have completed novitiate at St. Felix of Cantalice Friary in the Philippines' Baguio City
Five of the newly professed are from the Philippines and one from China. Minister of our Vice Province of PNG, Br. Jonathan Williams, OFM Cap., joined the brothers for the festive occasion. Already in the country were Brs/ Ben Barag, OFM Cap., (far left) and Joseph Kiagho, OFM Cap., (under Christ’s right arm) for a formators' course directed by the General Commission on Formation from May 2-10.
Newly vowed brothers Clement, Joseph and Christopher (below) will stay on in the Philippines for a year of post-novitiate formation.
